Founded on 19.01.2015 to provide non-refundable scholarship support to higher education students, FİSA carries out direct support, psychosocial support, capacity building, awareness raising and training activities for disadvantaged groups, especially children, refugees and sexual minorities. The programs in cooperation with national and international organizations are carried out with the coordination of FİSA Headquarters and FİSA Child Rights Centre. The activities of FİSA and its responsibilities towards its members are under international insurance coverage within the limits of the relevant insurance policy. On the other hand, FİSA provides assistance to its members or their relatives in case of a death of their full members and their relatives against their will (as a result of an accident) or subjected to a bodily malfunction due to a sudden and external event.
