VATAN is a leading non-governmental organisation in the fields of emergency aid, third sector support and long-term international development projects. Helping people and revitalizing communities is the principle of VATAN. VATAN is an independent, civil, non-political and non-affiliated organization.

It carries out many integrated programs with a holistic and open approach to intervention in urgent humanitarian needs and sustaining the revival of society. It believes that civil society plays an important role in many phases of these interventions. For this reason, investments are made to support and develop civil society in the areas it reaches. VATAN Association carries out activities and projects in a total of 8 programs, including food security and livelihoods, protection, education, shelter and living kits, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, supporting civil society, and economic strengthening programs.
